John the dog whisperer

John has been with GPPD for over 12 years now.  Before that, he worked for another local agency.  He has been a K9 officer for about 7 years now and patrols the streets with his sidekick/partner Kane.   

He attended Sam Houston State University where he got his degree in Criminal Justice.  John came to GPPD after working a DWI/Accident at his former agency and interacting w/ numerous GPPD cops.   When he came to GPPD, he was a member of our first lateral only academy class (Lateral Class #1).  

They tell an interesting story of when Nate was doing a ride-out....and Nate got called to the LT's office, got in trouble, and didn't even work for GPPD at the time.
